Solar Charging Can

This unique off-grid Solar Charging drum has been designed and manufactured by Mike Parker and Tim Smerdon at Mobile Solar Chargers Ltd. Silent, automatic lighting, phone charging, remote CCTV Camera, WiFi, portable, modular, easy to store, life expectancy 10 years. It is intended to replace some of the need for noisy expensive generators, particularly in Camping areas at Festivals, Conservation and Disaster relief.
All the parts are secured within the drum for storage and transport, 180w solar panel, full wiring loom, up to 230Ah Batteries, telescopic poles, frame, 5v/12v multiple power outlets.
Optional accessories include LED flood lights (PIR sensor), additional battery, additional 180w solar panel, remote CCTV, mobile WiFi router, (MiFi), inverter and removable Li-Po Power banks (up to 300Ah).
Ideal off-grid power, CCTV, lighting for Staff at outdoor Events and Festivals.
Since it is pre-wired with all the components secured in the drum, it can be assembled by two people in half an hour or disassembled for movement or storage in the same time.
It is a modular power generator, since although most end-users may have different requirements, the basic Solar Charging Can has an instant change of use by swapping the removable power control box, adding an inverter, MiFi, CCTV or the removable Li-Po super power banks.

Painted Steel Drum with detachable top, vents, carrying handles and Containing :
- 180W/18v 5.5A water-proof FLexible solar panel
- 2 x 115Ah deep-cycle leisure Batteries
- 12v Waterproof Solar safe charge regulator and controller
- 3m of telescopic aluminium poles and couplings
- Pre-assembled full wiring loom with waterproof IP67 connectors, 12V Battery lead
- Removable steel box contaning control panel with integrated solar controller and usb 5v/12v power outlets
- Land anchor for securing drum to the ground
- 2 x Sandbags for ballast

The 180W/18V 5.5Ah MonoCrystalline light weight lexible solar panel will automatically recharge the Lead Acid batteries and power the outlets during all hours of sunlight.The 12v safe charge solar regulator will make sure that the current and voltage stay within the limits of the battery and adapt to any variations in solar generation, i.e. cloud cover. It will automatically take into account if a 2nd battery is added to the circuit.
The Standard Can was designed to be flexible in the variations of use, pre-wired to accept any of the optional extras if ordered at a later date.
Since each Solar Charging Can is made to order (1 month lead time) it is possible to adapt to specific requirements, i.e. Variations in LEDs, CCTV, WiFi requirements, auxillary charging of other devices.
